NCRMA has posted below the latest Disaster Emergency Alerts from the North Carolina Emergency Operations Center and the State Emergency Response Team (SERT).

2006 Severe Weather Alerts


 

EBO Severe Weather - Nov 21, 2006 -- A developing "Nor'easter" moving northward along the southeast coast is producing heavy rains and strong winds across the North Carolina coastal region.

Severe Weather Event 11/16/06 -- A weak and essentially dry cold front will pass through the state over the weekend. The result will be a few clouds and seasonal temperatures.

Severe Weather Event 11/16/06 -- The National Weather Service initially evaluated the Columbus County tornado strength to have been an F-3 (moderate) and covered a 7-mile swath.
