The 2005 Long Session of the North Carolina General Assembly turned out to be quite an interesting and exhaustive affair. The North Carolina Retail Merchants Association was faced with playing defense on a number of issues - some extremely controversial - while also trying to push forward with an aggressive legislative agenda. We ended up having an extremely successful session.
