President and General Counsel
NCRMA President and General Counsel Andy Ellen has been named one of the top five most effective lobbyists in North Carolina by the North Carolina Public Policy Institute for the last three bienniums, as well as a recipient of the 2014 Triangle Business Journal’s Corporate Counsel Awards.
Andy has overall responsibility for leading NCRMA and its 11 affiliated companies. He is passionate about achieving the Association’s mission of promoting a positive legislative and regulatory environment for the retail industry in order to enhance members’ opportunities for success.
Originally from Southern Pines, North Carolina, Andy is a 1992 graduate of Elon University. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 1997, and became licensed to practice law in North Carolina that same year. He lives in Wake Forest with his wife, Tricia, and their two daughters, Julia and Jenna.
Senior Vice President of NCRMA
Elizabeth advances the government relations efforts for NCRMA, having lobbied the North Carolina General Assembly and regulatory bodies to advocate for a positive business climate for retailers in North Carolina since 2006. In addition, Elizabeth oversees Emergency Management response efforts for retail, the Carolinas Organized Retail Crime Alliance and other Association activities. Prior to joining NCRMA, Elizabeth served as Director of Government Relations for the NC Chamber of Commerce after working as an associate lobbyist with Roger Bone & Associates for various business clients. Elizabeth received the Triangle Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award in 2019 and served as the 2017-2018 President of the North Carolina Professional Lobbyists Association as well as a past president of the Young Lobbyists Association. She also serves as a President of NCRMA affiliated entities 209 Retail Partners LLC and Total Quality Management, Inc.
Graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double-major in Public Policy Analysis and Political Science, Elizabeth is married to John and lives in Raleigh with their two children, William & Emily.
Assistant Director of Government Relations
Korey most recently served as the policy advisor to House Conference Leader and Finance Chairman, Representative John Szoka in the North Carolina General Assembly. Prior to that, Korey served in several roles around state government including at the North Carolina State Board of Elections and the North Carolina Supreme Court. Korey also serves in the North Carolina Army National Guard as a Second Lieutenant in Military Intelligence where he is a Platoon Leader.
A native of Winston-Salem, NC, Korey graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies from Winston-Salem State University and received his Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law in May 2016. Kiger and his wife, Hannah, reside in Raleigh, NC.
Chief Financial Officer
Todd brings over 20 years of financial and investment expertise to our staff. Originally from upstate New York, Todd is a graduate of Vermont’s Green Mountain College and has been a resident of North Carolina since 1990. Todd currently resides in North Raleigh with his wife, Michele and their two daughters, Tara and Shelby.
Associate General Counsel
Julia, previously a shareholder in the law firm of Young, Moore and Henderson, P.A., has defended employers throughout North Carolina in all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation before the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Julia will also serve as vice president of claims and compliance for First Benefits Insurance Mutual where she will oversee the claims department. She is recognized in North Carolina Super Lawyers in the area of workers’ compensation (2016, 2017) which is awarded to 5% of attorneys practicing in each state based on peer nominations and evaluations.
Julia received her undergraduate degree from Meredith College, Masters of Public Administration from NC State University and Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
Julia is an avid Carolina Hurricanes and N.C. State fan. When she is not doting on her niece and nephew, Julia enjoys spending time with her two Portuguese Water Dogs, Pepper and Clancy, on the North Carolina coast.
Prior to joining NCRMA, Jill has over 20 years of finance experience in the telecommunications industry. A North Carolina native, Jill earned her BS and MBA from Meredith College, Raleigh. She is married to Barry and has two children, Lee and Kaitlyn. Outside of work, Jill is very active in her church and enjoys bike riding, boating, and beach trips.
Carolinas Food Industry Council
Lindsey oversees the day-to-day activities of the Carolinas Food Industry Council. Prior to her current position, Lindsey was the Director of Research and Education at the North Carolina Forum for Research and Economic Education (NCFREE), where she analyzed financial data, election results, and district information to predict the outcome of statewide and state legislative races. Born and raised in San Diego, California, Lindsey came to North Carolina to attend Wake Forest University, where she earned her degree in Political Science with a minor in Latin American Studies. She now resides in Raleigh with her husband Chris and two sons.
Carolinas Food Industry Council
Brenna Favara has worked with our organization since 2009 handling a variety of responsibilities. Most recently Brenna’s primary focus is on the Carolinas Food Industry Council. A SUNY Farmingdale graduate with a major in business management and a background in advertising sales, Brenna is also a certified Pilates instructor. She is married to Joe and has two daughters, Brielle and Jolene.
Association Management Coordinator
Program Manager, CORCA
Jessica has worked at NCRMA since 2014, after spending several years working in retail management. She focuses her time primarily on legislative and administrative support for both the North and South Carolina Retail Associations, and in 2016, Jessica was instrumental in bringing the Carolinas Organized Retail Crime Alliance (CORCA) to life. She manages day-to-day operations of CORCA, including website management and member benefits, and organizes the annual conference and other events throughout the year. Jessica lives in Durham with her husband, Matt, and her dog, Maggie.

Vice President of Communications
Ann previously worked at NCRMA for nine years, first as Director of Government Relations and then as Executive Director for the NC Jewelers Association. In the time Ann was gone, she honed her skills in communications and marketing with another statewide trade association, the NC Pork Council. Now she brings that experience, along with her prior knowledge of NCRMA, to work for you. Ann will oversee the development of all communications including newsletters, promotional and educational materials, websites and social media platforms.
Born and raised in the NC mountains, Ann came to Raleigh to attend Meredith College, graduating with a double-major in English and Political Science. She and her husband, Rob, live in North Raleigh with their children, Will and Elise.
John has worked at NCRMA since 2019 in a variety of roles. He currently directs and oversees NCRMA membership for the organization. John distributes important information to our current members as well as prospective members. He oversees the RCA scholarship program for high school seniors and college undergraduates.
John graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in communication and writing. He resides in Raleigh with his fiancé Sarah.
Director of Events & Social Media
A graduate of North Carolina State University, Amanda Wujcik has a degree in sports management and minor in nonprofit studies. She has spent the last several years planning events of all sizes for both nonprofit and for-profit companies. She is the vice chair of the Association Executives of North Carolina (AENC) – FUEL Young Professional group and serves on the AENC Scholarship and Trade Show committees. Amanda currently resides in Knightdale with her dog Harper.
Stephanie Stafford has worked with NCRMA since September, 2011. Stephanie attended Dutchess Community College in New York where she graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She moved to Raleigh in 1997 with her husband Dennis and started her career at IBM. Stephanie currently resides in Raleigh with her husband and two sons, Trevor and Justin.
